Dance it out
Your Space. Move Freely. No Pressure.
What's it all about ?
Do you ever feel like your days are just… full?
Work, home, dinner, screens — and then it starts again.
And somewhere in all of that, you don’t really get a moment to just be.
Maybe you miss dancing… but not the crowded nights out, or the pressure that comes with it.
I’m putting together something small and different.
A relaxed, cozy space where you can move however you feel — no choreography, no judgment, no pressure.
You’ll have your own set of headphones, so it feels like your own little world — while still being part of a shared, relaxed space.
There’s also space to sit, relax, and take a break whenever you need.
And yes — if the idea of dancing in a room with other people feels a little uncomfortable at first… that’s completely normal.
Most of us have only ever danced at events, on a night out, or after a drink — rarely just for ourselves.
That’s part of the magic of this.
It might feel a little outside your comfort zone at first — but on your terms, in your own way. And often that’s where the most freeing, joyful moments begin.
No one is watching. No one is judging. Everyone is there for the exact same reason — to switch off, move a little, and feel good.
Truthfully? I’ve had those same thoughts too. But dancing alone has had such a positive impact on me that I wanted to create a space where others could experience that too — privately, comfortably, and together.
Not a workout, not a class to keep up with — just moving in whatever way feels good.
Music, low lighting, and a bit of time that’s just yours, with no interruptions.
A few things you might want to know...

What is Dance It Out?
Dance It Out is a relaxed, low-lit, headphone-based 60-minute session where you can move freely to upbeat music in your own way. There’s no choreography, no pressure — just space to switch off, unwind, and enjoy the music.
Do I need to be fit or a good dancer?
Not at all. This isn’t a workout or a dance class. You can move as much or as little as you like — from full-on dancing to simply swaying or sitting and relaxing.
What kind of music is played?
There are a couple of music options available through the headphones, all designed to be uplifting and enjoyable — whether you feel like moving faster or taking it easy.
What should I wear?
Come in whatever feels comfortable — think cosy, relaxed clothing. No dressing up needed!
Do I need to bring anything?
No — everything is provided. Just bring yourself.
Do I have to keep moving the whole time?
Not at all. You can take breaks whenever you like. There’s space to sit, relax, and just enjoy the music.
Is it a social or group dance session?
It’s more of a shared space than a social event. Everyone moves in their own way, in their own space — there’s no pressure to interact or dance with others.
What age group is it for?
Dance It Out is designed for adults. Most people tend to be in their late 20s to 40s+, but anyone over 18 is welcome.
Can I come on my own?
Yes — many people do. It’s a very relaxed, welcoming environment. You might even feel more comfortable coming on your own.
Is it loud?
The music is played through headphones, so the room itself stays calm and quiet.
How are sessions booked?
Dance It Out will run in small group blocks (e.g. 6-week sessions), booked in advance. Final details including dates, times, location and pricing will be confirmed once initial interest is gathered.
Like the sound of it?
I’m currently gauging interest for a small first group in the Rathfarnham area (evenings).
Final details will be based on what suits most people, and availability.
